When a Baby Elephant Collapses in the Road

A group of elephants crossing the road caused a bit of a traffic jam in South Africa’s Kruger National Park.

After a calf collapsed in the middle of the road, the rest of the herd came to the baby’s aid, standing guard and protecting him until he was able to get back on his feet.

Happily, he soon did so and the herd moved off, freeing up the stopped cars to do the same.
